Time's Up! is "an environmental organization based in New York City. Among other actions and activities, Time's Up! sponsors a number of bicycle rides." This language is from their home page. It's too modest.

RoW co-founder Charlie Komanoff, with colleague Daniel Rosenblum, have founded the Carbon Tax Center -- not the sexiest name in the world, but a vital site concerned with what is, probably, the only effective way to reverse global warming.

The Coalition for Alternative Transportation "makes it easier to get around. Better travel options reduce the negatives associated with transportation, such as congestion and pollution. Curbing over-reliance on the automobile combats everything from obesity to [...] car crashes."

A group of bicycle activists in Austin, Texas maintain this very interesting site.

How about defenestrating cars? Car Busters, a lively outfit in Prague, continues that attractive city's flashpoint tradition.
